Studio Policies
Our policies are designed to support consistency, fairness, and a high-quality learning environment for all students.
Each program operates under its own conditions. Policies are not interchangeable between Group Classes, LMPS Voice Team, and Lessons with Lisa-Marie Parker.

Group Classes Terms and Conditions
Enrolment and Payment
• Class places are limited and cannot be over-subscribed
• Bookings are made through our online system and are confirmed upon payment
• Payment is accepted via credit or debit card and includes GST
• Re-enrolment is not automatic — a new booking is required each term
• Trial classes may be available within the first two weeks of term (subject to availability)
Cancellations and Refunds
• Term fees are non-refundable once the term has commenced
• Cancellations made more than 5 working days prior to commencement receive a refund minus a 10% fee or fees held in credit
• Fees for Cancellations made within 5 working days may be held in credit (valid for 12 months)
• In exceptional circumstances (such as illness or relocation), refunds may be considered with supporting documentation
• If a class does not meet minimum numbers, a full refund or credit will be offered
• Student substitutions are permitted prior to commencement (age eligibility applies)
Arrival and Supervision (Junior Classes)
• Parents are responsible for ensuring their child arrives and leaves class safely
• New students may be accompanied to their first class and settled before the class begins
• Younger students should be brought to the waiting area for teacher collection
• Parents are welcome to wait and observe in the waiting area during class
• Students are not supervised outside of their scheduled class time, including before and after classes and outside of the building
• Open Sessions are held in the final class of each 8 week term.
Missed Classes and Absences

• Missed classes are not eligible for refunds or make-up sessions
• Any contagious illness must be communicated to the studio
• Return to class may require medical clearance where appropriate
Nut Free Environment
• The studio is a nut-free space
• Food containing nuts must not be brought into the studio
• Please inform us of any allergies via email.
Health and Illness
• Please do not attend if unwell or experiencing flu-like symptoms (eg. Gastro, Covid, Flu, Conjunctivitis, Glandular Fever, RSV, Cold etc)
• Students may return following COVID after 7 days, provided they are symptom-free and test negative. If there is household exposure, we recommend waiting and testing before returning
• Hay fever or non-contagious allergy symptoms are generally fine to attend with
Communication and Privacy
• Studio updates and learning materials are shared via email
• Your information is kept secure and will not be shared
• Bookings and reminders are managed through our scheduling system
• It is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to keep contact and medical details up to date
Private Singing Lesson Terms and Conditions
Lessons with LMPS Team Teachers
Enrolment
• Enrolments are processed in order of application
• Returning students are given priority placement
Lesson Dates and Terms
• Lessons follow Victorian school terms and are booked per term
• Additional holiday lessons may be available on request
• Trial lessons (Paid) are available to new students
Payment and Fees
• Payment is required prior to securing your lesson time
• Payments not received by week two will incur a $20 late fee
2026 Rates
• 30-minute lesson: $50 + GST
• 45-minute lesson: $65 + GS
• 60-minute lesson: $85 + GST
Absences and Make-Up Lessons
• Each student is eligible for one (1) make-up lesson and one (1) planned absence lesson per term. (e.g. holidays, camps, performances).
• Planned absences should be communicated prior to invoicing.
• Cancellations within 24 hours will forfeit the lesson fee unless a medical certificate is provided
• Make-up lessons must be arranged in writing and completed within the term timeframe
• Missed lessons cannot be refunded or carried forward
• If your teacher needs to reschedule, a replacement lesson will be arranged
• Lessons may be switched to online. A minimum of 2 hours notice prior to your scheduled lesson time is preferred .
Re-enrolment
• Lesson times are held for continuing students and confirmed upon payment
• Requests for changes can be made via email
Cancellations
• Term fees are non-refundable
• Two weeks’ written notice is required if discontinuing lessons
• In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered with documentation
Health and Illness
• Please do not attend if unwell or experiencing flu-like symptoms (eg. Gastro, Covid, Flu, Conjunctivitis, Glandular Fever, RSV, Cold etc)
• Students may return following COVID after 7 days, provided they are symptom-free and test negative
• If there is household exposure, we recommend waiting and testing before returning
• Where applicable, lessons may be converted to an online format at the time of your scheduled lesson
• Students with mild symptoms are encouraged to move to an online lesson. Hay fever or non-contagious allergy symptoms are generally fine to attend with
Arrival
• Students must be brought into the waiting area and collected promptly
• Parents are asked to remain in the waiting area during lessons
• A quiet environment supports all students learning. Please note the foyer is not an enclosed space and all sound carries into the studio
• Students are not supervised outside of their scheduled lesson time
Materials
• Most materials are provided by your teacher
• Additional resources may be required and are the responsibility of the student
Communication
• Communication is via email to the studio email
• Your information remains private and secure
• Weekly reminders are sent via our booking system
• Please notify us of any changes to your contact details
Private Singing Lesson Terms and Conditions
Lessons with Lisa-Marie Parker
Lesson Fees
• 1 hour lesson: $120 + GST
• 5 lesson package: $575 + GST
Booking
• Bookings are made via the online scheduling system
• Package bookings are available through a separate link
Payment
• Payment is required prior to each lesson
• Payments are processed via Square through your booking confirmation
Cancellations and Rescheduling
• Cancellations within 24 hours will incur the full lesson fee unless a medical certificate is provided
• Rescheduling outside of 24 hours is permitted
• Changes within 24 hours are only possible if a suitable swap or same-day availability exists
• Lessons may be moved online at any time
5 Lesson Packages
• Packages must be paid in full prior to commencement
• Lessons must be used within 3 months
• Any lessons outside of the package are charged at the standard rate
Receipts
• A receipt is issued at the time of payment
Late Payments
• Recurring late payments will incur a $10 late fee
Financial Hardship
• Short-term payment extensions may be available for regular students
