Founder, Voice Teacher & Career Mentor

Lisa-Marie has been a freelance Music Theatre Voice Teacher, Audition Coach and Career Mentor for almost 30 years as well as working with the wonderful students of Centrestage Performing Arts School, Brunswick, Outer Urban Projects, Exitleft in Hobart, Walt Disney Special Events, Starbound, Signal 37 Project, Anti Racism Action Band Sound Hub to name a few and was a regular judge at the Highpoint Star Search Competition. Lisa-Marie along with her husband, Director Chris Parker, founded the Music Theatre Tertiary Audition Intensive. A member of the Music Theatre Advisory Board for the development of the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) Music Theatre Syllabus in 2014, Lisa-Marie continued on as an AMEB examiner for Music Theatre and also the Singing for Leisure Syllabus. Lisa-Marie Parker has taught for leading institutions including Victorian College of Arts teaching voice for the Bachelor of Fine Arts - Music Theatre and Australian Institute of Music as well as teaching privately from the Lisa-Marie Parker Vocal Studio in Flemington.

Acting & Music Theatre Lead Teacher

Olivia Charalambous was the founding Acting teacher of the Kids Division program in 2021, where she played an integral role in developing and curating its drama curriculum, and continues to support its ongoing evolution at the Lisa-Marie Parker Studio.

Olivia graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) with a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts (Acting) in 2013.

Her performing credits include Young Eponine in Les Misérables (10th Anniversary Production, Cameron Mackintosh), Anna in Spring Awakening (Original Australian Cast, Sydney Theatre Company), Ziggy in Young Frankenstein (Hayes Theatre Co), Annie in The Play That Goes Wrong (GMG & Stoddart Entertainment Group), Jack Irish (ABC-TV), and Puffs (Original/Touring Australian Cast, LifeLike Touring/TEG).

Her directing credits include Disney’s Camp Rock (Soundworks Productions), Between the Lines (Junior Theatre Festival Australia & New Zealand), Once Upon a One More Time (Junior Theatre Festival Australia), Spring Awakening (Soundworks Productions), The Understudy (Melbourne & Adelaide Fringe / MICF), and Carrie (JMC Academy), alongside a range of additional independent theatre work across directing, producing, and production roles.

While studying at NIDA, Olivia began assistant teaching in the Open Program and quickly became one of its most in-demand tutors in Sydney. She has since worked extensively across youth and adult drama and musical theatre programs in both Sydney and Melbourne, with over 15 years’ teaching experience across Australia and New Zealand. Her teaching philosophy centres on confidence, play, and the freedom to “fail gloriously” — a principle shaped by her mentor Kevin Jackson.

Music Theatre & Voice Lead Teacher

Kate Schmidli is a valued core member of our LMPS team and has been a leading teacher in our Voice and Music Theatre program since 2021, where she continues to play a key role in the development of our young performers.

A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), she has also trained vocally with Lisa-Marie for the past nine years.

Kate is a warm and nurturing teacher who specialises in music theatre and crossover vocal technique. She is particularly skilled at building confidence in beginner and developing singers, including students who may initially feel shy or unsure of their voice.

She also works with confident and goal-driven students preparing for school performances, competitions, auditions, and AMEB music theatre examinations.

Alongside her vocal work, Kate is a qualified Pilates and Barre instructor, bringing mindful movement coaching to support coordination, awareness, and physical connection.

Acting Lead Teacher

Oliver Tapp has been a valued member of our Acting teaching team since 2021, inspiring young performers with his energy, creativity and passion for the craft.

A Melbourne-based actor and physical performer, Oliver is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (Bachelor of Fine Arts – Acting) and has been performing since the age of seven. Beginning his training in classical ballet at the Victorian Ballet School, he later completed the Showfit Music Theatre Course before continuing his professional acting training at VCA.

Oliver's theatre credits include Midnight Carousel, Promiscuous / Cities, Soldier Boy, Blackpill, BLACKPILL: REDUX (Theatre Works), Roaring (Echo Theatre), Blackrock (Platform Arts), and Romeo and Juliet with the Melbourne Shakespeare Company.

In addition to his acting work, Oliver has extensive training in dance, stage combat and physical theatre, bringing a dynamic and engaging approach to every class. His broad performance background, combined with his genuine love of teaching, enables him to nurture confidence, creativity and strong performance skills in young actors of all ages.

Voice Teacher

Stephen Valeri is a valued member of our Voice team, bringing a wealth of professional performance experience and a genuine passion for developing voices of all ages. 

A graduate of Monash University Performing Arts and Showfit, Stephen studied voice with Lisa-Marie for over ten years before establishing a successful career as a professional performer. His theatre credits include Chicago (National Tour) as Mary Sunshine for Crossroads Live, Grease: The Arena Experience for GWB Entertainment, First Date for The Little Red Company, Mack & Mabel, and children's productions including Paw Patrol Live and Peppa Pig Live. He has also performed extensively on the cabaret circuit, with acclaimed productions including Fatboy Slimmer and The Age of Steven.

An exceptional vocalist and dedicated educator, Stephen specialises in music theatre and contemporary singing, helping students build healthy, confident voices and expressive performance skills. He is particularly passionate about VCE Music preparation and audition coaching, guiding students with the technical knowledge, artistry and encouragement to achieve their personal best.

Voice Teacher

Stephanie Wall is a valued member of our LMPS Voice team, bringing extensive professional musical theatre experience and a warm, supportive approach to her work with young performers. 

A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where she completed a Bachelor of Music Theatre in 2016, Stephanie is a seasoned performer in touring professional musicals. She was also awarded the Future Prospect Award at the 2019 Rob Guest Endowment in recognition of her outstanding promise as a performer.

Stephanie’s theatre credits include understudy Narrator/Ensemble in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Australian Tour (TWE), Swing in The Who’s Tommy with Victorian Opera, understudy Dorothy/Ensemble in The Wizard of Oz Australian Tour (Gordon Frost Organisation), Mary McGuire in The Beautiful Game (Manilla Street Productions), and Standby in Grace Under Pressure (Alternative Facts) and most recently swing in Waitress The Musical (Crossroads Live)

As a teacher, Stephanie is nurturing, detailed and highly knowledgeable, with a strong focus on music theatre repertoire, technique, styling and acting through song. She is passionate about helping students connect vocal technique with truthful storytelling, encouraging both confidence and expressive freedom in performance.

Voice Teacher

Genevieve Gray is a valued member of our LMPS Voice and Acting teaching team, bringing a wealth of classical vocal knowledge and a genuine passion for nurturing young performers.

Genevieve is an accomplished soprano currently completing her Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, where she studies with renowned soprano and voice teacher Anna Connolly. She has performed in a number of opera chorus roles, including the Masters production of Hänsel und Gretel, and her recent professional credits include Boojum and The Pirates of Penzance with Victorian Opera.

Drawing on her strong classical training and love of music theatre, Genevieve helps students develop healthy vocal technique, musicality and expressive performance skills. Known for her warmth, attention to detail and encouraging teaching style, she creates a supportive environment where students build confidence while establishing excellent vocal foundations across a range of musical styles.
